FAQ for rBAR serviced vacation-rental buildings

Not every question is a good question. But these are some of the good ones that may help explain rBAR. It is easy to use and we want you to be comfortable trying us out:

Does the app cost money?
No, the app is free. Only pay for the stuff we bring you.

Are the drinks finished?
Yes – poured, mixed, shaken, strained, filtered, spun and beautified! We are full service; you can even pick your type of ice.

Where do you deliver?
We only deliver to certain areas (but always expanding) and only to participating properties. Everyone else has to stay in the Stone Ages.

What days/times do you operate service?
Each location is different; check out our calendar for more info.

Do I have to be 21 to order?
Yes, even for food. After you download rBAR App, you will have to scan the barcode on your State ID to become a user. Sorry, younger folks, your time will come. Don’t rush it, trust us.

How hard is it to Sign-Up for Service?
Very easy. Any user can Sign-Up for service at their location, as long as the address is covered by rBAR, and they are the legally responsible party. Service must be scheduled at least 3 days in advance of the first day that Service begins. After that, rBAR Delivery is available during our normal business hours, until the end of the Service Engagement.

How hard is the app to use?
Very easy. We understand it had to be or you wouldn’t use it. Download, Sign-Up for Service, and Order some Stuff. It’s that easy.

What is your privacy policy?
We never sell your data and we only share your information as is required by law or to make the transaction work.

How long does delivery take?
Most orders will arrive in 15 minutes or less, and another round is just a click away; you will receive a notification when your order is on it’s way.

What if I leave after ordering?
We aren’t allowed to give your order to anyone but you. So, it will be disposed of at your expense. Stick around, we won’t be long.

Can I buy a round or order for a friend?
It is easy to pay for a friend’s drink (the Host can even buy everyone’s drinks), but everyone has to place their own orders. You can take up disagreements with that at your nearest senator’s office.

What if our food or drink isn’t right, can I voice a concern?
Absolutely. In the App, open your current Event, and use the Leave Feedback tool. It is immediately sent to multiple parties at rBAR.

Can I tip?
For sure! There is a line to add a tip in the App when you are checking out. Please refrain from tipping in cash. No, there is no place for clever wisdom; you can share all that in person. 100% of tips are distributed to hourly staff. rBAR does NOT retain any portion.

What if someone at the party needs to go?
We want everyone safe. Anyone at the party can alert us to another user and we will pay extra attention without mentioning any names. The Host can always cut anyone off. And, the alert option in the app is immediately distributed to multiple parties at rBAR.

How do I pay for things?
rBAR uses Stripe for secure transactions. You will be prompted to add your Payment Card details the first time you check out a cart. After that, your Payment Card details will be saved for future use.

rBAR comes straight to the door?
Sure does. You can choose to have us stay outside the door, or come in and deliver your orders while you sit back and relax, that’s totally up to you.

Does rBAR partner with buildings or property managers?
We do work with groups and businesses of all sizes. We like to help make experiences easy and special. Everyone wins.

What does the government think about all this?
They are cool with it. We take care of the alcohol delivery permit filings and everything on your behalf, and we only share your information as required by law. Believe it or not, they have better things to do if people don’t act like idiots.

Can we place an order if we aren’t at our stated location?
The short answer is NO. When you request service through rBAR, you request it for your stated residence, vacation rental, or other location. Items ordered may only be delivered to that location, or a common area within a complex, if that location is a multi-unit property. If you are invited to join someone else’s Event, those orders will be delivered to that location, or respective common area.
